A periodical printed publication – the Scientific Journal “Manager” is published with the aim of covering scientific and practical issues in the development of economic sciences, solved by the scientific community of experts, whose activities are carried out at the intersection of managerial, economic and financial tasks and knowledge related to management activities.

The Scientific Journal “Manager” is the legal successor of the scientific journals “Manager, scientific journal”, “Manager”. «Bulletin of the Donetsk State Academy of Management” (founded in 1998).

The mission of the journal is to promote scientific research, improve its quality and effectiveness, and familiarize the scientific community with the best results of theoretical, exploratory and applied research.

The main content of the journal is scientific articles, scientific reviews, expert opinions on topical issues of management and economics, scientific reviews of individual and collective monographs, which correspond to the branches of science and groups of scientific specialties for which the journal is included in the list of peer–reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of candidate and doctoral dissertations should be published.

An important task of the journal is to support young scientists, graduate students, and develop interest in scientific and research work among young people.

The Scientific Journal “Manager” is included in the List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the Degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the Degree of Doctor of Sciences  (The List of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation dated 05/02/2025) in four scientific specialties and corresponding branches of science:

• 5.2.3. Regional and sectoral economics (economic sciences),
• 5.2.4. Finance (economic sciences),
• 5.2.6. Management (economic sciences),
• 5.2.7. Public and municipal administration (economic sciences).

Certificate of registration of the mass media in the Ministry of Information of the Donetsk People’s Republic, series AAA 000065 dated November 16, 2016.

The journal is included in the database of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) and is distributed free of charge by electronic subscription through the Scientific Electronic Library (http://elibrary.ru): License agreement dated 02/08/2017 No. 064-02/2017; dated July 25, 2023 No. 126-06/2023.
