A periodical printed publication – the Scientific Journal “Manager” is published with the aim of covering scientific and practical issues in the development of economic sciences, solved by the scientific community of experts, whose activities are carried out at the intersection of managerial, economic and financial tasks and knowledge related to management activities.

The Scientific Journal “Manager” is the legal successor of the scientific journals “Manager, scientific journal”, “Manager”. «Bulletin of the Donetsk State Academy of Management” (founded in 1998).

Mission of the Journal – to promote the conduct of scientific research, enhance its quality and effectiveness, and acquaint the scientific community with advanced results of theoretical, exploratory, and applied research.

Main Content of the Journal consists of scientific articles, review articles, expert opinions on current issues in management and economics, as well as scholarly reviews of individual and collective monographs. This corresponds to the fields of science and groups of scientific specialties for which the journal is included in the List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications in which the main scientific results of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences dissertations must be published.

An important objective of the journal is to support young researchers and postgraduate students, and to foster interest in scientific and research activities among young people.

Since February 5, 2025, the scientific journal “Manager” has been included in the List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publicationsof the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, in which the main scientific results of dissertations submitted for the degree of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences must be published(List of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation dated November 25, 2025, position 1899),
in four scientific specialties and the corresponding fields of science:

• 5.2.3. Regional and sectoral economics (economic sciences),
• 5.2.4. Finance (economic sciences),
• 5.2.6. Management (economic sciences),
• 5.2.7. Public and municipal administration (economic sciences).

Certificate of registration of the mass media in the Ministry of Information of the Donetsk People’s Republic, series AAA 000065 dated November 16, 2016.

The journal is included in the database of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) and is distributed free of charge by electronic subscription through the Scientific Electronic Library (http://elibrary.ru): License agreement dated 02/08/2017 No. 064-02/2017; dated July 25, 2023 No. 126-06/2023.
